About Granny
Granny is a first-person survival horror game that has terrified millions of players worldwide. The premise is simple and deeply unsettling: you wake up on the floor of a dimly lit, decaying house. You have 5 days to escape. Granny — the elderly but unnervingly fast antagonist — lives in this house with you, and she will hunt you down the moment she hears a sound. Drop a vase, creak a floorboard, fire a weapon — and she comes running. Your only hope is silence, cunning, and the ability to find and use the right items before your time runs out.
The house is a multi-floor labyrinth of locked doors, hidden crawl spaces, and booby-trapped rooms. Escape requires finding several key items and completing a sequence of puzzles to unlock the front door. Everything from the car in the garage to the padlocks on the basement needs specific keys, codes, or tools to bypass. The horror comes not from jump scares alone but from the constant, oppressive tension of knowing she could appear around any corner at any moment.
How to Play Granny
Explore the house to find items scattered in drawers, on shelves, under beds, and in hidden rooms. Your inventory holds a limited number of items. Use them to unlock doors, disable traps, and build the escape route. Each of the 5 days resets Granny's position when she catches you — you keep the items you've used but respawn at the start of the day.
Crouching reduces your noise footprint significantly. Always crouch when moving near Granny's patrol area. The attic has the weapon (if you find it) and the basement contains critical escape items. The garage requires assembling a car with parts found throughout the house. Time is your enemy — use your days wisely.

Tips & Tricks for Surviving Granny
- Crouch everywhere, always. The difference between crouching and walking upright in terms of noise is enormous.
- Memorize the layout early: Day 1 should be purely exploratory — open drawers, note item locations, don't try to escape yet.
- Use the hiding spots: Wardrobes and beds let you hide. If Granny is chasing you, dive into a nearby hiding spot immediately.
- The safe resets: If Granny catches you, the house layout stays the same but she resets to her bedroom. This is a guaranteed "safe window" to grab items quickly.
- Prioritize the padlock code: The combination is always visible somewhere in the house. Find and memorize it early — it unlocks a critical door.
