About Stickman Hook
Stickman Hook is an irresistibly addictive physics-based swinging game that captures the pure joy of pendulum motion. Your stickman character swings from anchor point to anchor point using a grappling hook, building momentum with every arc. Nail the timing of your releases and you'll fly gracefully through each course; mistimed releases send you plummeting into the abyss below. It's elegant in concept and endlessly satisfying in execution.
The game's physics engine is the real star. Your stickman's body is fully simulated — legs trail behind on the downswing, extend forward on the upswing, and your momentum carries forward when you release. You can't just hold the hook button and coast; you need to feel the rhythm of each swing and let go at the peak of your arc to maximize forward distance. It's the same satisfying pendulum physics that makes Spider-Man games feel so good, distilled into a minimalist browser experience.
How to Play Stickman Hook
Tap or click to shoot your grappling hook to the nearest visible anchor point above you. Your stickman immediately begins swinging from that point. Hold to maintain the grip and build a full swing arc. Release at the right moment — ideally near the top of your forward swing — to launch toward the next anchor. The goal is to reach the flag at the end of each level without falling.
Early levels teach the basics with wide, forgiving layouts. Later levels introduce tight corridors, moving anchor points, and gaps that require precise launches timed to the millimeter. Some levels have no clear path — you need to experiment and discover the chain of anchors that gets you through.

Tips & Tricks for Stickman Hook
- Release at the peak, not the bottom: The top of your forward arc gives you maximum forward velocity when you let go. Releasing at the bottom just drops you straight down.
- Short swings in tight spaces: Don't always wait for a full arc. In narrow sections, a quick half-swing and release can get you through gaps that a full swing would miss.
- Look ahead: Always identify your next 2–3 anchor points before you release. Panicked, reactive grappling almost always leads to a fall.
- Momentum is your friend: The faster you're moving when you grab an anchor, the faster your swing will be. Don't sacrifice speed unnecessarily.
